About GBDF

Great Britain Deaf Football (GBDF) proudly supports a diverse range of teams, encompassing men’s, women’s, and youth squads. These teams provide opportunities for deaf and hard-of-hearing athletes to compete at various levels, from grassroots events to international championships. Players who join these teams must meet specific eligibility criteria designed to ensure fair competition and inclusivity within the sport. A key requirement is a hearing loss of at least 55 decibels in the better ear, a standard set by international deaf sports organizations.
